Buy a used enduro bike safely
Enduro Swap is a listings site. Sellers post their own bikes. We do not hold money, ship bikes, inspect bikes or check sellers. You deal directly with the other person, so these steps matter.
See the bike in person
Meet in a safe place, in daylight. Start the bike, look it over, and ride it if you can. Bring a friend who knows bikes.
Never pay a deposit before a viewing
Do not send money to someone you have not met. Scammers ask for a deposit to “hold” a bike that does not exist.
Check the frame number
Match the frame number (VIN) on the bike to the registration documents and the seller’s ID. If the bike is not registered, ask for proof of purchase.
Be wary of shipping-only sellers
A seller who cannot meet and wants to ship the bike after you pay is a warning sign.
Pay at the handover
Pay when the bike and its documents are in front of you.
There is no Enduro Swap escrow
We have no escrow, holding account, payment service or buyer protection. If anyone offers one in our name, it is a scam.
